These superior rooms are the new pride of Hamn. With their one of a kind interior and magic view to Senja´s beautiful landscape, we hope the rooms will both charm and boost your stay.

Driftwood coloured wooden panel frames in the ever changing view over the fjord, mountains, Northern Norwegian weather and light phenomenon as the Midnight sun and the magic Aurora Borealis – which the rooms are named after

The panorama view can be enjoyed directly from your bed, or a cosy lounge by the window, which cover the whole front facade.

You will find a lovely private veranda just outside where you can take an even closer step towards the water shore – enjoyable summer as winter

The bathroom has a delicate, yet rough style, and the frosted glass walls capture the summer daylight. Bathtub and a separate shower and toilet in all bathrooms.

No fully equipped kitchen, all meals (except breakfast, which is included)  must be booked in advance from early September to the 17th of May. We are happy to serve you a nice meal in the restaurant!

How to get here:

  • Direct flights from Oslo to Bardufoss airport,  1,5 h.
  • Bardufoss – Hamn : 1,5 h drive
  • Direct flights from Oslo to Tromsø or Harstad/Evenes/Narvik Airports: ca 1,5 h. Driving time by car to Hamn ca 3h 15 min
  • Hurtigruta arrives every day at 11 AM on Finnsnes on the north bound route, pick up service can be arranged from here.
  • The express ferry has 2-4 arrivals/departures a day to/from Finnsnes – Tromsø and Finnsnes – Harstad.
  • Finnsnes – Hamn ca 45 min drive – follow road 86
